Update: I have been with Erie for many years. When we recently bought our house, Penny gave us great rates for homeowners insurance, and we added the best policy we could, including mechanical breakdown coverage. A few months later, the smaller of our two HVAC units failed (it was about 15 years old). Relatively hassle-free, Erie covered it. I am so glad this policy was offered, and Erie delivered. I have had several agents try to sell me other policies over the last few years, but promptly declined. I have the coverage I need with the company I trust.”
